The Impressionable Years

Our children and youth are precious to us. Teaching them about God’s love, preparing them for life’s road ahead, and impressing upon them that God made them, Jesus loves them, and the Golden Rule from Christ Jesus is the Chapel’s mission. Learn more here about children and youth fellowship, Boy Scouts, and many other activities.

Sunday Afternoon for Youth

"Let’s get together…"

Middle school and high school students meet each Sunday from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. It’s a great time to come together for fellowship, dinner, games, good times and to learn about God, His presence, His power and His plan for everyone.

Wednesdays at the Chapel for Youth

Middle and High School students are invited to the Chapel for good, clean, supervised fun and fellowship. We learn more about Jesus, His love and how to share it with others.

Children's Ministry of the Chapel

"The More You Know, the More You Grow"

Learning about Jesus begins each Sunday at 10:30 am. Children, aged from Kindergarten to 5th grade are led through the Bible and grow in their knowledge of Jesus. It’s a fun-filled environment that caters to each child.

Sundays for Preschoolers

"Let the little ones come…"

Each Sunday Big Canoe Chapel provides a staffed nursery for children up to age 4. Nursery is available for both services at 9:00 and 10:30 am. Through interactive games, crafts, and storytime, our youngest are introduced to and learn about Jesus.

Summertime at the Chapel

"Summertime is Funtime"

Summers are action-packed at the Chapel. Summer Art Camp. Summer Day Camp and, of course, Summer Vacation Bible School headline the activities for our kids. Check here often for dates, times and other important information!

Boy Scouts

We’re home to Boy Scouts from Big Canoe, Bent Tree, Jasper, Dawsonville, Marble Hill, Tate, and Ballground. Our troop is chartered by the Big Canoe Chapel, but it is not necessary to be a Chapel member to join and be a Troop 20 Scout.
